Generation Z, or Gen Z for short: Gen Z is the newest generation to be named and were born between 1995 and 2015, following millennials. They are currently between 5-25 years old.

Parenting or child rearing is the process of promoting and supporting the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of a child from infancy to adulthood. Parenting refers to the intricacies of raising a child and not exclusively for a biological relationship.

Children come into this world with some basic needs. As a parent it is your job to be aware of these needs and support for child’s positive growth.

Modern development has completely changed the contemporary issues of the world by adding certain dynamism.

Times have truly changed, greater problems have developed and fortunately the Gen-Z seems vocal with its problems. There seem to be many challenges faced by children nowadays. Putting through your point should not be termed as disrespect and is one of the reasons why children seem distant to their parents.

Subsequent incidents throughout time have emphasised on the need for mental health and when the parents observe abnormal behaviour they should come to the aid of the child as this matter is not a joke. Teens and tweens have too much on their plate, social media is a boon but the bane is massive. Everything they do should not be reprimanded. Their beliefs and choices should not be taunted; this is seen as a high percentage of children belonging to the LGBT community. This is important for several reasons: being unique provides the community with the ability to be a destination – a place where people might travel some distance to visit and being unique sets a community apart from its competitors and gives it a commercial edge in the marketplace.

Solidarity is required over solitude. Good parenting doesn’t necessarily mean that your child doesn’t drink or smoke but it implies that your child has certain morals in life, is a humanitarian and chooses to respect all. The difference in generation may bring about a conflict in interest but if the parents are willing to adopt the new thinking they have anyhow won the trust of their children.

Good parenting is essentially when parents capitulate the overlord image and share anecdotes involving the mistakes they have made or their rule breaking adventurous side, this makes them approachable and helps children think that after all their parents are just as mortal as them. We have established through sociology that showing that you care about someone doesn’t necessarily mean showering them with the most exquisite gifts but means that you do small things which make them feel comfortable and accepted.

The time when the hormones kick in refers to a period of mood swings, attitude and a certain uncomfortability, this part will be hard for both the parties, so give them privacy as something’s need to be figured out by them also and this can be termed as positive solace. Throughout growing ages, mistakes will be made, hearts will constantly be broken but proper parenting ensures that their child is mentally strong and refuses to give up to, even the greatest obstacle. Each individual should be taught to make an identity and not to reside in the shadow of everyone.

Personality development is a wide concept and it is affected by every choice we make in life.

Proper parenting ensures emotional security and is actually passed down generations in the form of teachings like sweet folklore. Each memory you make is going to last forever. The only teaching that matters is that letting your children know honestly the sky is not the limit.
